Due to a certain copy-cat, we are forced to protect our workload/stocked-parts due to the high rise in power supply failures as predicted.
The copy-cat DIY Kit will have an additional 3 Ampere Load on your KX 155/165 should you install it.
i.e., 5[20mA]+[20mA per EACH 7-SEGMENT x 20]!
The plagiarist knows nothing about FAR’s & “his product” doesn’t even have the “Tx” function, instantly non-compliant with any approval possible.

This is definitely too much of a load for the radio’s internal S.M.P.S. to handle & WILL FAIL!

Due to that one unavailable Power Transistor and the other related parts [of which we do have in stock]; and the fact that we have a 100% repair history with these radios, this is your price as a non-customer at said date.

This DOES NOT include our OLED.
This is just to get your radio fixed right [or you may just junk it for your poor decision].
